Traveling somewhere tropical soon? Protect yourself from the Ziki Virus!
Zika virus is spread to people through mosquito bites. Zika virus is found in tropical areas worldwide, and since 2015 in South & Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean (including Puerto Rico, Haiti and DR), and in travelers returning to the U.S.
This virus can be dangerous to pregnant women, and they should avoid or postpone travel to affected areas.
If you travel, protect yourself by using insect repellent and wearing long-sleeve shirts and pants. If you get sick after your trip see your doctor and tell them where you traveled.
