Seasonal Influenza Vaccine 2018-2019 Healthcare Providers
It is recommended that all persons ages 6 months and older receive a yearly flu vaccination. Please call our Flu Vaccine Hotline: 586-466-7923 for more information. Flu shots will be given from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; each clinic has one late evening per week. Please visit the Flu Clinic Schedule web page for more information. Note: For the 2018-2019 flu season, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends vaccination for everyone 6 months and older with any licensed, age-appropriate flu vaccine: Flu shot (inactivated influenza vaccine or IIV), Nasal Spray Flu vaccine (live attenuated influenza vaccine or LAIV) or the Recombinant influenza vaccine (RIV). Nasal spray flu vaccine (LAIV) is not available at any of the Macomb County Health Department flu clinics or community events.
