Children's Special Health Care Services
The Macomb County Children’s Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) program reaches out to over 2900 clients with over 2700 different diagnoses from birth to 21 years of age. This includes clients over the age of 21 with Cystic Fibrosis, Hemophilia and related coagulation disorders. The program offers a variety of services to clients and families with qualifying diagnosis and children and youth with special health care needs. These services may include assistance with the application process, medical bills, and transportation costs; health care coordination which can include working with your Health Plan, covering co-pays and deductibles; and assisting your family with access to community resources and services.
