Emergency Preparedness Services
Preparing for emergencies shouldn't be something you think about just for your home. If you own/operate a business, emergencies can have a devastating impact especially if you're not ready for them. The following resources can help you develop a plan to continue operating in an emergency.
The Emergency Preparedness Program encourages all residents to have an emergency supply kit, an emergency plan, and to be informed about the different emergencies that can happen in their area.
Download workbooks to assess your personal level of preparedness and learn more about what goes into a family or community emergency plan.

The mission of the Macomb County Health Department Medical Reserve Corps is to strengthen the community by recruiting non-medical and medical volunteers and training them to be ready and able to provide organized assistance to the Macomb County Health Department and surrounding communities in the event of a county-wide public health emergency, large-scale disaster, terrorist event or disease outbreak.
The Macomb County Health Department has a wide variety of presentations and speakers available. Please contact the speaker directly to request more information or request a presentation at your community agency, school or worksite. Two-four weeks notice is required for many speakers. Most presentations will require a minimum number of registered participants.
